A place for real conversation — and real tools to go with it.

You can go it alone, but you don’t have to. I provide individual and couples therapy that’s both practical and deep. In-person in Oakland or online across California in English and Spanish.

Most people don’t want to do therapy. You do it because you cried in the grocery store, because you and your partner keep having the same fight, or because you just know deep down it's supposed to feel easier than this.

You tried meditation, martinis, a new city, a new haircut, texting your ex, getting very loud or very quiet, scrolling until 2am…you’ve tried it all.

The good news is that therapy can help.

Hi, I’m Luisa.

I’m not a nod-and-“tell me more” kind of therapist—you’ll get honest reactions, my full attention, and even a bit of humor. I blend talk therapy, mindfulness, and somatic practices with practical tools. I especially enjoy working with queer couples, people from mixed cultural backgrounds, and individuals navigating loss, anxiety, or trauma. I work in English and Spanish.

Whatever's life throws your way — a loss, a big change, a relationship in flux — I’m here to help.

Let’s talk

Not sure if therapy is for you? That’s a fine place to start. Tell me a little about what’s going on and we’ll see if it feels like a good fit. No commitment needed.
